Paul Bagordo has 35 years’ experience in the development of human resource service systems, organizational development and the design, advocacy, training and development of balanced and respectful partnerships between Canadian service systems and Aboriginal peoples. He has worked with dozens of non/Aboriginal and Aboriginal organizations in human service, business, industry, and education.

He has operated his own consulting and training company; Bagordo Consulting and Training Services Inc. for the past 28 years. His work has been focused on capacity development and organizational infrastructure design. His work covers business, community, industry and educational development. He holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University and has volunteered his services in the following capacities:

Stan Louttit, Member of Moose Cree First Nation

Writer, researcher and professional musician who grew up in Moose Factory, ON. He holds an MA in Anthropology and a Music Degree. He has worked on the LMRP and the EWG for Moose Cree First Nation since 2007. Stan has facilitated many Elders workshops, teleconferences and meetings for the MCFN in relation to the LMRP. He also is a strong advocate for MCFN rights and interests regarding its Agreements with OPG.

Jean Pierre Chabot, Member of MoCreebec Eeyoud

Jean Pierre Chabot is the representative for the MoCreebec Eeyoud on the MECC and works as Senior Development Officer (SDO) for the MoCreebec community. His role as SDO includes addressing issues related to lands and resources. He has extensive experience working on matters including governance, social and institutional development. Jean Pierre was born and raised in Moose Factory and is an avid canoeist.

After graduating from undergraduate studies at Carleton University, Jean Pierre worked for a number of think tanks and non-profit organizations. He returned to studies in 2010 and completed his MBA with a concentration in emerging markets in 2012. Just prior to joining the MoCreebec Eeyoud he was employed as Program Director for the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC).

Howard Archibald, Representative for Taykwa Tagamou First Nation

Howard Archibald is the MECC Representative for Taykwa Tagamou First Nation.  He is also presently a member of Council with Taykwa Tagamou Nation.

Howard is also a member of  District School Board Ontario North East as the Indigenous Trustee and chair of Indigenous Peoples Advisory Council to DSB1. Howard’s background experience is in the education and social field.

Howard was part of the LMRP as the Project Lead on behalf of TTN  when it started in 2008 and is currently employed with Detour Gold as their Aboriginal Affairs Coordinator with the Human Resources Department.

In Howard’s community, he is considered a Traditional & Cultural advisor in regards to ceremonies and he follows this way of life as guided and directed through spiritual and traditional Elders.

Cheryl St-Amour, Member of Ontario Power Generation Inc

Cheryl St-Amour is the representative for Ontario Power Generation.  She is the Plant Systems Support Manager at OPG and is responsible for the Northeast Operations’ managed systems. 

Cheryl holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master’s Degree in Historical Feminist Policy.  She also holds an economic development designation as well as being a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Cheryl has held positions with the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines and the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, as well as in the private sector.  A long time resident of Timmins, Cheryl believes in working with her community to improve the life of its residents. She has donated her time to Northern College Foundation, to the Barrier Elimination Action Corp., to the Timmins and District Hospital, to Spruce Hill Lodge, to the Seizure and Brian Injury Centre and to the Northeastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services.
